wow. i like! you didn't get the egg texture but you got the mass right. the shells feel very three dimensional and the fact you gave the edge of the shell a highlighted feeling of thickness makea a HUGE difference. between that and the solid shadows aroudn them.. this is really kool stuff. 
makes me wonder how you'd do dying easter eggs and then drawing them like this.... your eye for color added to this shading would be... stellar!
